Who we are

A trading house is only worth what its last shipment was worth.

We are deliberately a trading house rather than a manufacturer. Our loyalty is to the buyer’s specification, not to one factory’s output — so when a mill cannot meet a grade, a lead time or a price, we go to one that can.

Three trading desks share one commercial team, one set of banking and freight relationships, and one standard of documentation.

The company is owner-managed, which matters commercially: enquiries are priced by people who can commit to a number, and problems are settled without passing through three layers of approval.

Why buyers stay

Anyone can forward a price list.

What buyers pay us for is a shipment that arrives as specified, with documents a bank will accept.

  • Mills, processors and factories qualified before an order is placed — certification, capacity and shipment record
  • Pricing built up openly: ex-works, freight, insurance and duty, so our CIF figure can be compared line by line
  • Bookings, consolidation, inspection and delivery managed by us and reported at every stage
  • Documents prepared correctly for L/C, CAD or T/T settlement
Trade terms

FOB, CFR, CIF and DAP under Incoterms 2020. Container, break-bulk and consolidated LCL.

Payment

T/T, irrevocable L/C at sight, or cash against documents for established accounts.

Inspection

SGS, Bureau Veritas or Intertek on request; buyer-nominated agencies accepted.

Documents

Invoice, packing list, B/L, certificate of origin, mill test or health certificate.

Tools

Work out your tonnage before you ask us for a price.

Four calculators built for the way this trade actually works — steel weights and container loading, bagged-cargo fill, solar system sizing, and what each Incoterm really covers.

Open the tools

Steel weight & loading — theoretical weight per metre and per piece, pieces per tonne, and how many fit a container against its payload limit.

Container fill — bags per 20ft and 40ft for any pack size, with the binding constraint flagged: weight or volume.

Solar sizing — monthly consumption to kWp, module count, roof area and battery bank.

Incoterms — who pays for what, and exactly where risk transfers.
